What is The Pledge Drive?

March 1, 2021 - May 31, 20210

The Pledge Media Kit

The Pledge Drive marks 61 days of advocacy activities designed to educate the pet owning public as to why the application of shock in pet training is not only unnecessary - but also potentially very harmful, both physically and psychologically.

The goal is for all participating individuals to actively recruit as many pledge signatures as they can within the allotted time frame.

How Do You Participate?

1. First, make sure you have signed the Shock-Free Pledge by visiting the pledge page.
  • You can choose between a FREE pledge signature or a SPONSORED one, and you can choose to sign as a business or as an individual.
  • After you Sign the Pledge your details will show in the main directory
  • When you receive your pledge confirmation email be sure to take advantage of the educational resources provided - they are there for you to post and share across social media and throughout your community.

2.  Log In to your Shock-Free Coalition profile and print out your individual membership card that has your unique membership number.

  • You can do this from the home page by clicking on your name and clicking View Profile once you are logged in.
  • Print lots of membership cards and distribute them to your friends, family, neighbors, fellow PPG members, clients, students, and colleagues, and ask them to take just THREE MINUTES to Sign the Pledge.
  • Let your referrals know that when they complete and Sign the Pledge they MUST enter in your membership ID# onto their pledge form.
  • We have developed an email template for you to use to help drive pledges.
  • Participants who recruit the most pledge signers will be eligible for great prizes!
